3.2 Connectivity issues related to Antivirus Firewall.
F Secure

Causes of the issue to occur:-

 The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. This Issue will occur when Partner Using F Secure Antivirus in his system.
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. Connectivity between client and server shows disconnected.
  2. When checked the network logs the send and receive logs are not generated.

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows

You need to allow our TCP & UDP ports in Firewall. No need to disable the “F Secure Anti Virus

These are the following steps to be followed to allow C3M/Clinck ports in F Secure Antivirus.

  1. Right Click on the F Secure tray Icon and Open the F Secure Anti Virus.
  2. You will get the F Secure Screen.
  3. Check the Internet Shield Mode, now it is in “Office” Mode.
  4. If the Mode is in “Home” All inbound TCP traffics are denied.
  5. Change the mode to “Office”.
  6. Now, Click on “Change” besides to the firewall on Right hand side.
  7. No Advance Setting screen will appear.
  8. Clinck on “Add” Button.
  9. Give the “Name” as “C3M\Clinck” and “Type” as “Allow”.
  10. Click on “Next” Button.
  11. Then Firewall Rule Screen will appear.
  12. Select IP address Range as “Any IPv4 address” and Clinck on “Next” Button.
  13. Services List wills appear. In this service list search for the “TCP/ Transmission Control Protocol”.
  14. And check the box on left hand side.
  15. In Direction column there will be a “system icon” and “Globe icon” in between that there is a “?”
  16.   Double click on the “?” (Question Mark). Then it will change “?” as two way Direction.
  17. Now select the “UDP/User Datagram Protocol” service and Check the box on the left hand side.
  18. In Direction column there will be a “system icon” and “Globe icon” in between that there is a “?” (QuestionMark).
  19. Double click on the “?” (Question Mark). Then it will change “?” as two way Direction.
  20. Now click on “Next” Button.
  21. It will show the details of the rules which we have added.
  22. C3M\Clinck rule is added and enabled successfully.
