Missing Arial Font error is displayed while accessing reports.

Causes of the issue to occur:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. If the Operating System is formatted and reinstalled then sometimes a particular font does not get installed properly. For the C3M Application to work properly we require Arial font
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. When we click on any report under the Report tab an error Massage” font “Arial” does not support style
    regular” is displayed.
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Open the Cafe Manager Console to check for Reports.
  2. While running the report if we get the error message “font “Arial” does not support style regular” then
    there is a possibility of either the Arial font was not properly installed in OS or it is corrupted.
  3. Close the Cafe Manager Console.
  4. We have 2 way to install the font in OS:
    1. Manually Import Arial font form Another Machine.
    2. To Import Font use the following Steps:
    1. Go to Start > Control Panel >Font Folder>File>Install New Font>Select Location from where you want to install the Font type i.e. Arial.

      OR

    2. Install arial.exe setup. Use this link to download and install Arial font.

  5. Now Open the C3M application we will be able to view the reports.
