Reports always display the message: No Records Found

Scenarios where the issue occurs:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows

  1. URL tracking not enabled on C3M Server Console.
  2. LSP. DLL is not registered on the Client Machine.

The causes for this issue are as follows:

  1. The main cause for this issue will be that some third party application did not allow the LSP.DLL to install.
  2. Client machine not updated due to some reason (For e.g.: DF enabled machine)
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. User or the Administrator is unable to trace the URL logs of the client machine.
  2. The .csv file that is created at the time of saving of those logs on the server machine is either not created or does not exist. 
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. First of all Open the Cafe Manager Console and check if the URL Tracking option is enabled.
  2. If the option is not enabled then please enable the same and that should resolve the issue.
  3. If the above mentioned step does not resolve the issue then follow Steps given below.
  4. Now login on to the Client Machine and check if the application is running on the latest version.
  5. If the client is not updated on the latest version then we need to update the same.
  6. This should resolve the issue and if not then follow the below mentioned steps.
  7. Check if any third party software has blocked the installation of LSP.DLL for e.g. Net Protector.
  8. If The third Party Application is blocking the LSP.dll then follow the Step no. 12
  9. If there is no Third Party Application then follow Step No. 10.
  10. Now go to Start > Run > msinfo32 > now the System Information Dialogue Box will appear. Now go to Components > Network > Protocol.
  11. Now once you click on protocol on the right hand side check for Clinck Protocol.
  12. If the Clinck Protocol is not present then we will have to register the Clinck Protocol. The steps to do that are as follows:
    1. Go to C:/Program Files/Ideacts/Clinck V3 and check for install.exe
    2. Now go to Start > Run > Type cmd.
    3. This will take us to command Prompt.
    4. On the Command prompt we need to navigate to the application’s installation path that is
      C:\Program Files\Ideacts\Clinck v3
    5. At this Location please type this command on the command prompt to install the CLINCK URL Tracking
      protocol. install.exe -i -h -a -d "c:\Windows\system32\LSP.dll" -n CLINCK.
  13. Once the LSP.dll is registered, start the client screen and then login as a customer to check for the URL Tracking at the server end.
  14. So registering the LSP.dll should resolve the issue.
