6. Installation and Setup
Setup appropriate Regional Settings for iCafe Manager

Scenarios where the issue occurs:-
  1. At the Time of Clinck Product Activation.
  2. Live Update issues.
  3. Time Synchronization issue on Server and the Client Machine.
  4. At the time of Online Customer Search.
  5. Customer Registration.
How to Identify the issue:-
  1. At the time of activation the Administrator will get the error message “Internet Connection not available”
  2. On the Client Machine the dialogue box for Live Update will not appear and the version will remain as Older Version.
  3. The Amount shown at the time of closing the session on the server will be incorrect (i.e. in thousands or Lakhs).
  4. At the time of Online Customer search the Administrator will get the error message “Internet Connection not available”.
  5. Same error message “Clinck Server Not available. Please contact your administrator”
Scenarios where the issue occurs:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Open the Cafe Manager Console and check for any of the above mentioned error message.
  2. On both Server and the Client Machine follow the steps as mentioned below:
    1. Check for the date and time on the system tray.
    2.  It should have the current Date and time.
    3. If it is not showing the current Date and time then go to Start > Control panel > Date and Time Options.
    4. Once the Dialogue Box is open then click on the Time Zone Tab and change the check if it is showing as (GMT+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi. If not then select the mentioned Time Zone.
    5. Now Click on Date and Time tab and change it to the current Date and Time. 
    6. Click on Apply and then OK to save the changes
  3. This should resolve the above mentioned issues.
  4. If this does not resolve the issue then follow the steps given below
    1.  Clinck Start and then click Control Panel.
    2. Open Regional and Language Option.
    3. Select English (United States) in Regional Option.
    4. Select Location Only United States.
    5. Click on Customize and Select Time Tab.
    6. Change Time Format (h:mm:ss tt).
    7. Change Time Separator (:).
    8. Change AM or PM Symbol only in (AM or PM).
    9. Then Click Apply.
    10. Click On Date Tab.
    11. Select Short Date Format only (M/d/yyyy).
    12. Date Separator (/).
    13. Select Long Date format only (dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy).
  1. Now this resolves the issue with reference to regional setting issue.
