Message "Please reinstall the ReportViewer.exe to see the report" when trying to access reports.

Causes of the issue to occur:-

 The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. This Issue will occur when Partner by mistake uninstalled Report Viewer.exe setup from server machine.
  2. At the time of installing the C3M server application the report viewer is not installed properly.
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. When we try to click on report tab on C3M application it shown error massage “Please reinstall the ReportViewer.exe to see the report”.
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Open the Cafe Manager Console to check for Reports.
  2. While running the report if we get the error message “Please reinstall the ReportViewer.exe to see the report”
    then possibility of either the Report Viewer is not installed or is corrupted.
  3. Close the Cafe Manager Console.
  4. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add and Remove Program > Check for Microsoft Report Viewer is installed.
  5. If it is installed then highlight the same and click on Change/Remove option which will enable us to Repair the
    exe file.
  6. Once this is done this should resolve the issue and now we should be able to see the Reports.
  7. If it is not installed then go to C:/Program Files/Ideacts/Clinck Cyber Cafe Manager and install the Report
    Viewer.exe from this location.
  8. After Installation open the Cafe Manager Console and now we should be able to view Reports.
  9. This will resolve the issue.
