After formatting the system and re-installing iCafe Manager Server, you are unable to view any of the past data

Scenarios where the issue occurs:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. The Café Partner is not aware about the process to restore the Database.
  2. The Computer has been formatted and we need to restore the backup
  3. Clinck Café Manager Console is installed on a new machine and backup needs to be restored.
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. In Clinck Cafe Manager Console we will not be able to view any previous reports.
  2. In Clinck Cafe Manager Console we will not be able to view any previous register customers.
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Open the Clinck Cyber Cafe Manager Console.
  2. Click on File àRestore
  3. Once we click on Restore, a Dialogue box appears which allows us to select the file to restore.
  4. Click on Browse and Select the Clinck Cyber café Manager file (from where we have saved it on the computer/removable drive) and select open, this will select the file.
  5. Now Click on Restore
  6. Once we click on Restore we will have a Message asking us to confirm whether we want to restore the selected backup.
  7. Click on Yes
  8. Once we click on yes, another message appears on the Screen saying that “The restore process has been completed. Clinck Cyber Café Manager will now restart” as show in the fig below.
  9. Press Ok to restart the Clinck Cyber cafe manager, this will restore the Backup.

Note: Please note we can only restore the backup if the backup was taken previously and saved on the computer/removable drive.
