Scenarios where the issue occurs:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur is as follow:

  • iCafe DNS is blocked by ISP
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  • Online Customer search will not happen, it shows that “internet connection not available, please try after sometimes”.
  • Will be unable to register new customer giving an error “There is some unknown error when contacting the Clinck Server, Please Contact the administrator”.
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Open Cafe Manager Console.
    1. Register a new customer or search customer from online database.
  2. If you get any of the above given error message:
    1. Check the route of Clinck DNS
    2. To check the route run the command given below:
      1. Go to Start->Run->CMD->tracert clinck.in and press enter. Request Timed Out should not come
    3. To solve the issue run the command given below:
      1. Go to Start->Run->CMD->Services.msc. Locate DNS Client Service and stop it.
    4. Register a new customer or search customer from online database, this should resolve the issue.
